Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
replacement dell adapter will be here monday! i'll have both for comparison.
seafoam, does your display flicker more often with the xfx bios? mine is definitly worse... switching back to sapphire bios.
sparktz, eyefinity is worth every penny if it works. ive enjoyed roughly 3-4 hours of...
I'm not familiar with RBE by any means, but within the "Clock settings" tab there is a "BIOS voltage table, voltage registers, clock/voltage settings etc. These could equal out to be completely useless.
RBE is probably going to be our best bet. I'll take a look at it again when I home.

SeaFoam,
Have you tried the 5870 Sapphire BIOS? Call me crazy, but I'm running that BIOS on an ASUS 5850 and have had better luck with my display staying on than the ATI BIOS. I still have flickering more than times and not though... My research and troubleshooting has pointed in one direction...
Yes, Dell BizLink adapter to an Acer AL2016W. Running three of those at 5040x1050. Has XFX released a BIOS fix for this? I'm willing to try it... I've used 10.1 and 9.12 drivers with the Sapphire 5870 BIOS and still have blinking. Has anyone had better luck with 9.11 or later?
the sapphire 5870 bios on page 5 works best. unfortunately i still have blinking with it. im running the bios on an asus 5850... 10.1 drivers, 825core/1200mem
I flashed my Asus 5850 to this BIOS... It helped, but I still have on/off flicking more times than none. It rarely works perfect with 9.12/10.1 drivers. Before flashing to this BIOS the monitor wouldn't recognize there was signal 90% of the time.
Yeah, Asus support is the absolute worst. I landed a "too good too be true" deal, that turned out to be true on this gpu. I personally would have picked any other 5800 series brand and a 5870 instead. I'll send Asus an email tomorrow, probably end up in a waste of characters.
I have this gut...
I seem to be slowly getting closer to a complete fix. I started out with the BIOS shipped with my ASUS 5850. My DisplayPort to Active DVI Adapter (Dell-Bizlink) monitor at first would rarely come on. Mostly stayed in "Standby/No Signal". After flashing the BIOS to the version listed on...
