Good God Why Do LG L227WTG-PF's Make So Much Noise?

Doesn't the w2207 have pretty bad input lag? or maybe I'm getting it confused with a different monitor...

    Good 22" For Gaming?

I'm going to be getting a LG w2252tq-tf for Christmas (the L227 went on sale for $249.99 the day after my parents bought the w2252 at Circuit City for $239.99, haha), but I'm still really excited for it. I am slightly worried about the matte though, since I am used to my fw900 (decided to...

Is this 22" LG good? Or spring for a cheap $150

That LG is the best 22" LCD out right now for gaming. 0 input lag, 2ms response time, 1:1 pixel mapping, good picture, and you don't have to play the panel lottery unlike Samsung. GET IT Edit: Oops, I thought that you were talking about the L227WTG-PF for some reason. The W2252TQ-TF is...

    How Good is my LCD?

VGA cables are generally better for response times than DVI or HDMI. So if you are going to mostly be gaming, use a VGA.

    DVI cable - $10? or $65? what's the deal?

The funniest thing ever was when I was looking around for a Toslink at BestBuy when a salesman tried to persuade me to buy one with gold connections because it would improve conductivity! lulz I vowed never to shop at BestBuy for cables ever again, monoprice is ftw.

    LG L227WTG-PF, HP W2207H, or Acer X223Wbd

I was thinking about getting the W2207H, but then I read that it has quite a bit of input lag (which is pretty much the most important thing if you are going to be gaming.) Get the LG it has 0 input lag.

    Best value 22'' LCD Monitor?

Get a pair of headphones, I have not heard a single headset that can compare to a good pair of headphones. -Audio-Technica AD700s -Sennheiser 555s -AKG K501 (if you can find them)

    Best value 22'' LCD Monitor?

Gift cards are so gay, completely pointless in every aspect of the word. It's like people giving you money and telling you that you can only shop at one store... wait, that is exactly what it is.

    They do?

    Best of these 2

In ALL electronics, specs don't define how good something is. Specs don't tell you if a monitor has back-light bleeding, blue/red/whatever dominance, wobbly stand, glare problems, bad interface, ect. So please, dumbass, just give the names of the monitors or no one can help you...
