    Consider it an art project, old Shuttle SN45GD (nVidia Dusk & Dawn edition) using a Shuttle SA76G2 board which requires a single slot GPU and I need one that powers entirely from the PCIE slot. CPU is a Phenom II x6 1055t, 8GB DDR2 RAM. A 3050 is technically overkill for that. Gotta tackle...

    Anyone else not buy a new GPU in almost a decade, only used?

    Last new GPU I bought was a pair of Titan-X (Maxwell) cards and a Quadro P620 if buying a return from one of those bin stores counts as new. Currently used GPUs (2080 Ti & 3070) were either given to me or purchased used. Also this thread seems like the perfect example of 'could use a poll.'

    AMD FX 8350 it still works!

    ASRock 990FX Extreme9 for my 8350, still have the board, wouldn't mind sticking another 8350 or even a 9590 CPU in it and putting it to some level of use. They also make good space heaters.
