Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
alright, I'm gonna try to do a calibration using some colorbars and grayscales, but first I need to decide which picture mode on the monitor to use.. their isn't one called "PC", so I need to find which setting to use (custom, dynamic, standard, cinema).. I'm trying to get a mostly accurate picture
The colors look bad on this monitor using my PC... I've got an old windows XP dell computer with an nvidia 6800xt.. I'm using the latest driver from the nvidia site for the graphics card, but the monitor shows as a generic monitor and has the default 2001 Microsoft driver..
I need an XP...
Does anybody have this monitor? Is it worth $180 or is there another monitor 24"+ that performs better for ps3 gaming and pc use? This monitor seems to be cheaply priced..

yea for real.... that, and sites like crucial's site detect my comp as supporting 512 max and 256mb as the largest size compatible, while memory stock tells me 1.5gb ram is usable! That, of course, would be true if all 3 dimms were functional but even then that's probably wrong. Hp support told...
yea i did alot of reading and questioning just to end up doing nothing more than adding a bigger ram stick, but at least it worked....
the board is always listed as only supporting 256mb sticks in each slot, hence why i wanted to add and make use of the empty dimm spot on the board... but...
yea i'm gonna call and demand a better deal from my ISP real soon here and i'll just ask them if they have newer modem hardware available.... still just might buy one though
I've been paying to lease my cable modem from the ISP for years and decided I should just buy one and return this rented unit.
My question is... What do I need to look for in purchasing a cable modem?
..currently using the ''terayon tj715x" which seems to be a common model and hasn't...
well i'm not experienced in soldering so this may just be the case, but the bios does register the spot on the board as an 'empty' slot (as does a few other computer scanning programs such as belarc advisor).... take that for whatever its worth....
but either way, it turns out my pc may just...
ok well maybe this makes sense then lol....u can tell i'm no expert in this field :)
but either way, I just purchased a 512mb stick and am gonna try it out as soon as it arrives. Then, if still not working, I'll consider the solder job. I haven't soldered anything since I put a modchip on my...
wow thanks! I checked it and bought it in the last few seconds of the auction. Sweet.... now I just have to wait for it to show up and see what happens.
that looks like a pretty good deal for the mobo and the p4... I may just do that but i'm gonna try adding a 512mb stick for now since its so cheap and easy to do.
What issues could I face software-wise if I do swap the mobo/processor? Like, would my whole xp installation and settings become...
