Is it a viable test to record a TV with a (cellphone) camera and check wether it flickers? This guy is reviewing the Iiyama Prolite X4071 and the flicker is clearly visible in the video:
Pretty disappointed about the bad QC on this model too; I just hope that the burn-in is not inherent to the panel and will be fixed within the next couple of months.
