Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have an Antec Truepower 550 connected to an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe mobo. I have recently started experience random system lockups and started troubleshooting. After alot of trial and error, I happened to notice something in the Power Management section of the BIOS that I need a second opinion...
Yeah bbz_Ghost is right. Start the recovery console from the XP MCE install disk and run fixmbr and fixboot commands at the console. That will most certainly fix it.
Did you recently make any changes to your system that might have modified the boot.ini file?
Was XP pre-loaded by the manufacturer? If so that could explain why it won't take your passwords. I have run into this at work. Some images will not validate the proper password when using the recovery console from a CD even if no password is set. In other words, the admin password that was used...
Firefox 2.0.0.3 - I can't live without Google Browser Sync, No Script, or Ad Block Plus. IE7 is highly functional but I find it lacking any intriguing extensions.
As promised here a few pics of my new VX2025wm. I ordered it from the Egg on Monday and it arrived yesterday. Very fast free shipping from NewEgg. It shipped with no dead pixels and set up very easily with no problems at all. The supplied driver is non-WHQL certified for those that care but it...
You can try THIS if you don't have Adobe Gamma installed. It's obviously a matter of preference but I suggest setting you monitor sRGB color profile before running your gamma app. This will give you the most accurate color reproduction.
Got mine today and it's much nicer than I expected. The picture (after some tweaking) is really amazing coming from a 19" CRT. Mine has no dead pixels thank god. I also had no problem getting the scaling option to work properly in the nvidia control panel running a 7800GS. I'll post pictures and...
I ordered this monitor from NewEgg for $349.00. I just tracked it and it's coming tomorrow! I'll be sure to post after I get it set up. Has anyone figured out what is causing the image scaling problem with nvidia 7xxx cards yet?
