Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Sounds like you're in Florida. I got rid of spectrum and got centurylink fiber (i'm in the Orlando area). Couldn't be happier and the install guy gave me his personal cell if I ever needed help.
And that is why I don't mind buying the one x. I understand that many people see the cost and shy away but if you already own a 4k tv and know that 4k streaming sucks and you play games then this is a no brainer. I play both PC games and console games (I also own the PS4) so I am not on any...
I was one of them but I also bought it for gaming.
I assume the same will be for the one x for most. But before concluding it's not for you I would at least ask you to test streaming 4k vs 4k bluray. I can't believe this is the same forum where people argue about speed of GPU's and CPU's where...
I'll let you know. I am going to buy 2 of them (I have 2 4k TV's in my house) and give my 2 xbox one's I already have to my son and son-in-law. My teenage daughter will play on one tv and I on the other (when I am not on my PC playing).
I also want to add that many people here and in the...
My situation currently is just like yours.
I don't mind waiting as my older rig still can play 1080 games just fine. My speculation is that AMD is testing the card to see if it can compete with Volta. I think that they were ready to bring it to market if the Volta wasn't announced. Although...
no idea but I can tell you from work that intel's graphics drivers still have a tough time with hardware acceleration on video and embedded videos in powerpoint. I wouldn't even try games on those chips
That's funny because the company I work for went intel only and our hardware team has to be a 24 hour shop to keep things going. I am one of 7 that fixes windows and lan issues for this company's location and we are business hours only. we have a 4 year refresh cycle that should really be a 3...
APU's in a corporate setting is where the value is. They are meant for PC's in the workplace that have 4000+ PC's that don't use a lot of electricity. That can be a lot of money saved on energy costs.
Off topic but yeah I actually caddied during summers while in college. no running but man I made a lot of money and stayed in shape for football (I played in college). I miss those days.
LOL. just reading everybody's post is hilarious. The RX version specs aren't even out yet and most everybody has come up with a conclusion. It's like reading about the OJ case while it was happening.
It's just a video card for gaming, nothing else (the RX). I can understand those people that...
I guess I am a fan of corporate competition. I am waiting to see what the vega performance/prices are and how they compare to NVidia's cards. I am not opposed to buying NVidia but not before I see how a competing card performs for the money. For example if the Vega I want (using the rumor...
I am waiting for the scorpio to come out. I have 2 xbox one's in the house for me and my daughter to play on and we have 2 4k TV's. She will use it for gaming but I'm interested in the 4k bluray built in. I figure i'll give our two xbox one's to family when we have our scorpio's. Just my 2cents
I am assuming 50 and over are your generation. I am 50 and love it. My 29 year old son loves it and so does my 16 year old daughter. And yes I bought one. Too me it's no different then trying to watch TV with my wife who can't put down Instagram or pinterest and doesn't acknowledge whats on...
