Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Suppose I have a PS that supplies 750w, but my system only uses say, 500 W -- what happens to the difference? Is it wasted in heat, or just not consumed?
If you want a quick and dirty way of converting all your code to C#, you can compile it and the decompile it with Reflector's C# mode. You can then export it as a C# project. Some VB specific things like the with statement will need some manual tuning.
EFI sounds great but has a couple of large flaws: it can apparently function independently of the OS (download updates through LAN). This is trusted platform/DRM's wet dream. Secondly, it still has the flaw of being closed and proprietary.Linux BIOS is the way to go.
