I've got an ASUS board with the EPU stuff built in. It actually tells me my reduced CO2 emissions. Has 4 profiles and i'll typically put it to a sort of 'sleep' mode before bed or if i'm out, so 'technically' 24/7. The netbook and laptop get turned off or get put into sleep mode when the lids...

cudos to this, I had several friends pulled from collage back in the tech boom right in to decent paying jobs, some went on to do more courses after the fact but none of them have any student loans, and they are doing just fine. I'm thinking he's probably watched this...

well, you know guns kill people right? we have gun registration here and its never been much of a problem overall, I mean the argument that "dirty" (illegally bought) guns are the ones that wind up in most crimes is another debate as to why legal guns need to be registered but whatever, guns...

i would love to see a BF214x version of this. the gameplay modes in that game rocks, but then again i'm a sucker for future-based FPS's. sure it only took them 2 years to release the final patch, but the new maps are awesome. I am rather envious as far as more modern graphics and effects go...

Who the heck is Marty Friedman? -is an amazing guitar player, cacophony megadeth and them a host of solo albums that got progressively more pathetic hes now almost on par with yanni. Why ever that got posted is any wonder. Uncle - post -well put, anyone ever see "v for vendetta" this seems...

• Depression • Anxiety • Poor Grades Sums up about 95% of American teenagers. WOW violent? Egad.. it couldn't be any worse than LOTR movies, TV crime dramas, and well any good action movie. Easily most could watch 30hours of cable in a week. All these symptoms could also relate...

I'd notice, for bands and stuff like that is a great resource... HOWEVER. their new revision to the site runs like crap, and i've got a pretty decent machine. Audio player and video are tediously slow to load and it slows down any other page i happen to have open. scrolling the page is choppy...

this outlet looks like the ones in east Europe, and yeah this thing would be a huge deal here. I don't think there isn't a house here without extension cords of some kind. not to mention most of the wall construction is concrete so its difficult to just drop in a new double socket. Hard to say...

Computer files ending in GIF, JPG, BMP, TIF, PCX, DL, GL, FLI, MPG, AVI, MOV - these are picture or graphic files and parents should know what they illustrate. Image files may be pictures of a sexual nature and can be of very high quality, moving pictures, and even include sound. A: what if the...

Its another law to turn people into criminals. I doubt anyone has a 100% "criminal" free computer. In Canada it is not illegal to download MP3s as with many European countries for example. Its a matter of time before they pass laws that could essentially turn you into a criminal just because you...

Music and Movies should be upgradeable. If you just own the license than those movies I owned on VHS then on DVD now to be bought on Blu-ray Similarly the Records, cassettes and now CD's. I should only have to pay the difference for the newer format media that I would trade in the old cassette...

Same holds true in Canada. I worked for a company a few years back, we were taking blank media burning them then screen printing them. The big joke was 99.9% of our business was digital software and such NOT music. However we still had to pay the Canadian CD tariff. Which in its own was a...

if the moon landing did in fact happen, which i'm divided on yey or ney. I would like to know how they were able to even get there without any possible shielding from the suns radiation and background radiation from the universe. One would die very quickly if not protected. The tin cans they...
