In Canada 9950x3d is going for 1050-1200 bucks totally insane. I get Canadian dollar is 0.70 cents but markup is really high. Have to save up. Between CPU and GPU prices nothing is really under $1000 bucks.

I miss days you can just walk I am store and buy gpu you want. PC's hardest part is GPU and often get more closer to MSRP. Corporate greed is killing gamers. Most parts are insanely expensive. Trying to save up for PC and it's really cost prohibited.

Piecing my system. I have Godlike Z790 and Rtx 3090ti so far. Going for 14900K or KS (If released). Ram will be 2 sticks of 48gb ram. Hoping better memory controller on 14 series is slight improvement. Also Pcie5 psu and new case.

Getting none gonna save for rtx 4090ti variant or AMD 7950XT all hinges on performance.

Its only problem is its line in mic. Its sound is awesome but weak line input. Kind of ongoing problem with Creative. I have AE-9 but also looked at asus STX II 7.1. Also looked at Nu 7.1. Stuck with Creative. Each has drawbacks. I have edifier 760d speakers so its least good speaker...

Only advantage to rtx 3090ti is fact memory is not on the backside less heat problems. Kinda late since 4090 isnt far off.

Voltage and Temps kill cpus. Its basically lottery how long cpu lasts.

This or 3090ti but I am not excited sure 3080ti will be very limited show. Hoping by near end of 2021 with pandemic more under control. Maybe get one but sure 4000 series might be out.

Still sad state of affairs on AMD and Nvidia. Least in USA still has more than Canadian stocks. Hopefully next few months will change that.

3080ti will be the sweet spot. Coming from 1080ti. Now is question of stock. Hope not another paper launch.
