Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This was the lineup at newegg. Deactivated and removed now. Will give you an idea of the pricing tho.
Edit, err it would if the screenshot would show up full size.
Was available for about an hour or so. Then all of the p55 boards and lynnfield cpu's got deactivated, and removed.
So there is still one newegg as far as I know aswell.
I'm not sure if it will handle the load or not. The problem I see is not enough pcie power connections. It only supports two. Just something to think about unless you plan on using molex adapters.
Yes they do. The length of that unit is pushing it tho considering that the cpu sockets on the board are at the edge of the socket where the power supply is.
Lian Li A05 has the psu in the front bottom corner of case. Not much clearence between motherboard and psu.
Edit. Also the board i...
That is a good suggestion but I'm wanting to keep it modular. If corsair had something like an 720HX then that would be about perfect. Another option I have is the Seasonic M12 700.
I will be building another system soon. The configuration should be as follows.
Dual Harpertown 80 watt cpu's.
HD4870
8-16 GB DDR2(not fb-dimm)
3 Hard Drives(2 ssd and 1 regular hdd)
Areca 1200 raid card
1 Optical Drive
4 case fans
Will the Corsair 620 be enough or should I go over...
