From what I understand, the "D" in DVI-D stands for dual link. It can transmit higher
bandwidth. (OK) I recently bought an Alienware with 1920x1080x120Hz resolution.
This is connected to my custom tower, with an Ati 4870x2 Video card. Internet browsing looks
real good, & games like COD-MW...

After the build over a year ago, I installed a Zalman heat sink. Temp's ran around 33-34c
at Idle, 38c in game. I'm not OC. Now I'm running 35c @ Idle, 40-42 gaming. I clean dust...
Was the "Sound Blaster X-fi" the only sound drivers you installed

[I was not keen on having to activate my Creative software that came with the X-Fi card... and I am not sure if I could have gotten away with just drivers. Oh, well. Audio quality is fine. I have audio static noise coming through my HDMI cable to my HDTV.. but I think this is a video card...
Looking for insight from people who actually built with this mobo/soundcard. I have my system running for a week now, and can't get the sound right.
I loaded both:
Sound Max ADI Audio Driver & Sound Blaster X-fi Drivers.
