I have a 4090 laptop. With DLSS Balanced and Frame Generation I get about 100-120 fps out in the world. That's with RTX and everything fully maxed out at 4k.
But I have yet to see any visual changes with RTX. My eyes are terrible at seeing fps above 120 as well as hard to spot details.
So in a game that's build around constantly getting new items, you are bothered that you don't get to keep one item for the entire campaign playthrough?
I'm sorry but I can't take complaints like that seriously. This game is just not for you.
P.S. to answer the other guy, the game gets a lot...
I put many hours in original Hellgate and enjoyed it quite a lot.
But that was long time ago and now there are plenty of games that build on Helldivers formula.
Steam is filled with indie fps/Diablo like games.
Played a ton of it even before it was released as standalone. Haven't played it for many years now though (excluding firing it up once in a while to check what's going on).
I have only 108 hours in it on Steam, but that doesn't count thousands of hours I put into it when it was ARMA III mod.
Can't tell, sorry. I don't game on the small screen, it's just there for work.
I repasted the cpu and gpu with PTM7950 and the temps on the cpu dropped about 25-30C (77F - 86F) and gpu 10C (50F).
Before it would hit 100C (212F) in both Cinebench R23 and games and would throttle. But now it's...
I got myself a MSI Titan GT77 17.3" with 13980hx, 64gb ddr5 and 4090 for dirty cheap (€2100 compared to what it costs here in Sweden new, close to €6500).
And I'm very impressed with it.
I knew the performance will be good as this is basically a desktop 4070Ti with 16gb vram, but I didn't expect...
You're not wrong. 4080 Super is the way to go.
I went for 4090 laptop (4070Ti desktop equvivalent) and use DLSS3 and FG as much as I can. Works wonders at 4k/120hz.
Games like Throne and Liberty play really well between 60-100 fps at 4k and max details, on a freaking laptop and that's one...
I tried it today and had no issues logging in or travelling to a new zone (EU).
But the game just doesn't appeal to me.
It has a cash shop and armor sets are almost Diablo 4 price (€20). It's also locked to online only and you can't use cosmetics on offline chars.
It doesn't look great imo and I...
Looks like ass. It's 2024 and we're still getting games that look like they were made 15 years ago.
I saw a video today of a moving sidewalk in Paris, in 1900. 125 years ago. And it carried 70.000 people. What do we have today? Games looking like ass.
Backwards progress in the entire world, lol...
Turns out this issue is not due to the charger, but the usb-c hub. As soon as I disconnect that it boots normally, with or without charger.
Not sure why, maybe undervolt makes it unable to boot with usb dock.
