Koolance is ( what I heard ) not recommended.
I'm in the procces of watercooling my rig 2 and wherever I ask questions people say
Thermaltake and koolance are a no go.
I'd go with either black ice sr1 or xspc RX 360
Here's a sticky by a guy on this forum...
Very nice man!
I don't have room for a triple but I do now know that my xspc rx 240 and rx120 ( push/pull )
will cool my gpu's and cpu.
Thank's a lot
Edit : Just according to a review the gtx 275 uses 186 watts under full load.
186w x 2 = 372w : 100 = 3.72w x 85 ( tdp ) = 316w + 277w (core...
thnx for the quick reply!
Are you sure?
These xspc things beat black ice new sr1 series from 1000rpm and above.
Since i'll be using 1200 rpm fans I think i'm good on the brand.
Hi all,
First off my system is in the autotext below.
The watercooling will be for system 1.
Allready have a swiftec cpu block.
This is only my second watercooling build so please go easy on me! :)
I'm getting :
-XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir Pump
-2x Aquacomputer...
I downloaded speedfan version 4.41 but it also reads 1.17v
Just last week it was 3.3v.
I've never seen it this low before.
Going to try changing some bios settings.
I'll update when done.
Edit: I restored bios 2 default and turned all powersaving features off but
it didn't help anything.
I...
Hello all!
System 1 in my signature has low 3.3 voltage 1.17v
I've stressed the hell out of my system ( occt power supply test )
but it stayed @ 1.17v the whole time.
After 2 hours there were no problems at all.
System runs completly stable.
Bios says 3.3v = 3.9v ( which makes me wonder if it...
If he's a gamer the 1gb could come in handy in games like gta4 and other open world games that suck the video ram up like a sponge.
Also @ lower res. AA is preferable and it also uses up more video ram.
I think you did nicely on the preliminary.
It's not getting much better than that for $600.
Just a thought: On another thread someone had the idea to buy a unlockable cpu like the x2 555 and save some money.
You could get the 1GB version of the 460.
Again just a thought.
You need a mobo with...
It's just an idea/option.
If I wehere the one asking the question I'd like other options too.
I'm just offering an idea, if the op does anything with it is up to him.
it's comparible. 1090t is like the I7 when it comes to heat.
sli'd gtx 460 @ these speeds would definitly be hotter than 1 5870 making it even worse for the HAF X.
I think it compares nicely.
