    The only way to find out is to try it. Some fans won't even spin at 5V. Some fans won't spin at 5V without a higher voltage initially as a boost.

    Dust prevention in cases...

    It's funny to me that who I believe to be the wise will just say you must clean periodically in order to rid dust. It's not practical to filter dust without a method considered overkill in the minds of most people. Like most people, I'm cheap. I don't want to have to get a HEPA air purifier...

    If it were me, I would probably try abusing a 8P8C/CAT5 jack (salvaged from a broken/unused router/switch) and a modified plug (break off the clip). Affix the combo at the hinging portion of the door somehow.

    How are the 180mm case fans powered in the FT02 (secondarily I'm curious also about the the 120mm)? Are they connected to the PSU via molex? I'm using Air Penetrators in my scratchbuild but currently have them plugged in headers on the mainboard (for rotation rate reporting). I'm not sure...

    Just a FYI, there is an LCD Conditioning option in the Menu that will cycle the display through a bunch of colors. Maybe get a screensaver that'll do it (oh nice idea I just came up, surely this exists) and/or have your wallpaper change constantly.

    I just realized your situation is more about covering a hole that happens to be near a fan. Foam-lined acrylic sheet could work, although probably requiring more effort than you want. I will probably try women's peds next, for a filtering material.

    I got a Rev01 replacement for a Rev01 that shortly exhibited that notorious problem of a vertical yellow line. No other problems I'm aware of.

    I'm testing out window/door screen but I think the holes (> 1mm²) are too big for anything but already clumped pieces of spiderwebbed lint.
