    Wired or Wireless Headphones

I love my HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset, 2.5 years in and the battery life is still almost 2 weeks of 8-12 a day use. They sound good for games, music and Teams chats and have a range that lets me walk around the house without dropping out.

32GB of RAM On Track To Become the New Majority For Gamers

My gaming rig has 128gb of ram, overkill? yea. Why? because amazon sent me 2 sets of 2x32gb ram and said keep it when I asked them if they wanted one returned.

Hilarious, AI keeps hallucinating (or lying) after being corrected multiple times

The problem we had was when we spot checked stuff there were always serious errors, it would just make up data to fill in for empty fields or do odd math operations to random fields.

Hilarious, AI keeps hallucinating (or lying) after being corrected multiple times

I have yet to find a good use for AI, we tried using it at work for compiling data but after two weeks of trying we gave up because someone could have done it with excel manually in that time.

Sounds like it is time to nuke the UK.

World's Largest Solar Project Would Power 1 Million U.S. Homes

Evolution doesn't care about traits that come after child rearing years as they are not passed down. That you even live past 40 is outside of evolutionary design requirements, you are coasting on a system built fairly robustly for the first 35 or so years of life.

World's Largest Solar Project Would Power 1 Million U.S. Homes

High initial cost and high maintenance costs make it not very financially viable. The problem is salt water is nasty stuff; you would need sacrificial anodes everywhere on the equipment and figure out long term sealing systems on moving parts. Coal can burn very cleanly if powdered and burned...

    Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

The plan was for the 27" monitor to go vertical, but it just looks odd as it was, might need to shift everything over a bit more to the left then try again. Monitors: Dell G3223Q and Asus TUF VG28UQL1A

    Starship Troopers: Continuum

    That gameplay looked super slow.

    Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

The game looks good at 4k with DLSS. The mechanics of the game feel clunky, the whole parry/block system is trash, they should just go with the normal long press RMB for block to not totally throw off the feel of combat. Your damage needs to stagger npc like their damage staggers you as you can...

    How much RAM you got?

My new gaming rig has 128gb, my new CAD/FEA workstation has 256gb.

Is there a gaming mice that is not garbage ?

It seems that most will last about 2 years of heavy gaming before the buttons start double clicking or the scroll wheel stops working. I am right at 2 years on my G502 lightspeed and thus far no problems but if it dies I will just get another one as the ergonomics work well with my right hand.

Need advice on commercial generator for animal hospital

We have a Generac 100kw unit that runs on natural gas, the server racks have APC server rack UPS, all computer workstations have APC UPS.

What's the fastest way to erase a mechanical drive?

At a previous company they had me smash 30 drives out of the server and provide photos of the smashed drives. Was a fun time, took almost 2hr to thoroughly destroy them all.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy threatens employees to return to office or "things are probably not going to work out for you"

Sounds like a direct threat to your life which in most states legally permits a lethal force response.
