Its not real 5k, its just dual 1440p screens put together horizontally. So in width its 5k, but vertical 1440p instead of the 2160p+ a normal 5k screen should have

Nobody complaining about eye strain/headaches yet, so I guess the PWM ain't a problem.

Thx for the info. Just curious, why don't display companies just sell their displays pre-calibrated? Is it just to make more money by selling calibrating devices, or does the calibration depend on the lighting in the room or something?

Sorry for hijack but is calibrating a screen even worth it? Is the difference visible? Can it also be used for a TV screen with a HTPC?

This just happened to me for the first time after 3 days of using it, hopefully it won't happen often or I'll have to return it.
