Nah don't worry about anything like that...Worry about Nvidia's Drivers fking up and giving you blue Screens everyday :eek: My 260GTX never goes past 60 degrees.

My Evga GTX260 idles around 50-55C. My brothers MSI 4850 idles at 70C. It can easy handle a 60+. :D Thus it can handle more OC'ing. Now does anyone know how to OC 2-D Core and memory in Rivatuner or NO?

I guess it shows you what you think you know (guess), and what you really know... actually there is heavy spawns and my FPS even with a 260GTX running at a whopping 450Mhz Core and 150 Mhz memory in 2-D my frames will drop to 19 fps in this older mmo, but in heavy spawns or places with alot of...

There is a older game (mmo I play that runs on 2-D graphics).

With one 260GTX my 3Dmark06 score landed @ 13,618 all Stock Clocks on the GPU w/ForceWare 177.26. Dunno if that helps you or not. Good Luck.

Just purchased a 260GTX through NewEgg. Hooked it up tonight also.I haven't OC'ed in awile, and I'm kinda stumped now. By default my GPU in 2-D runs at 300mhz GPU Core and 100 MHz memory. As you can see in this JPEG/Pic... I was able to OC my 2-D settings to 450 MHz GPU core and 150MHz memory...

If they honor that mail-in-rebate that's almost as good as the Evga just 5 dollars more expensive, still a great deal I believe :)

I bought a 260gtx the other night 254.99 (+ 30 MIR which I don't care about :o), I think GDDR5 still has a ways to go b4 the speed can outpace the older GDDR3. Maybe next 6-12 months they can crank the speed from 3600 MHz (on stock 4870's) to sumthing in the 5000-6000 MHz range. When that time...
