I'm not so sure it's the zr30...I have three zr's in SLI. When I had two hooked up in on a gtx 295, I experienced the blinking problem every time I booted up. It was intermittent, but annoying. I found a report on the interwebs suggesting that "older" GPUs like your 5750 and the gtx...
they are noiseblockers s3 fans...at full crank (1800rpm or so), they aren't really great to be next to. I usually keep them at 1000 (7v) rpm which makes the computer quieter than my old dell 8400 whilst at idle.
