I did and I am very happy. Went from 2x U2410s to 2x U2515Hs and am very happy. The sharpness, the ability to have more screen 'real estate' was well worth it. The physical sizes are nearly the same too.
I went from 2x 1920x1200 (U2410) to these and could not be happier. The extra real estate and clarity in nearly the same size package was well worth it. I really wanted to do 3x, but that's an insane amount of desk space.
Is anyone daisy-chaining these monitors? I just ordered 3. I am assuming I go video card to mini DP on the LCD, DP out to mini DP on the next LCD. I know I can't do 3 at full resolution with my AMD W5000, but it has 2 DP out so I should be able to do 4 with it. I know it comes with a DP to mini...
I am looking at getting 3 of these to replace 2x U2410s. I can live without the SD card reader, but I *really* like having a couple of USB ports on the side. My computer is on the floor sort of out of the way, do people just dangle an extension out of the back of one of the LCDs?
Got a couple of things going for me....I don't play games and I usually replace a machine after 2 years. I'm sure I'll be looking at a 9030 once they end up in the Outlet. :)
Correct. A lot of the Dell machines have started using a little small motherboard connector. I have not seen (nor have I looked) for a power supply with that new small connector.
I did see that card at NewEgg and it says it needs a 300 watt power supply. The 9020 is just under that at 290 watts. I also saw an Eyefinity 4 card. Just not 100% sure if the motherboard video is disabled once a PCIe card is in there. I know Daralian chimed in, but I want to know 100%. :) This...
Want to set up a Dell Optiplex 9020 with 6 LCDs. The motherboard supports 3 at a time with 2x DP and 1x VGA. If I add another card, will I lose the motherboard? Or will another card render the motherboard ports useless?
Trying to figure out if I need 2x NVS 300s, or 3x NVS 300s. Or if the...
Looking at upgrading my 2x 24" Dell U2410s to a couple of 27" models. Been looking at the U2715H. The resolution is a nice upgrade, USB3 is nice, daisy-chaining DisplayPort is handy, the smaller bezel won't suck up as much desk space. I just can't get over that there is no USB on the side, it's...
Gotcha. I know I won't even max SATA 2.....but already have the card....just need to find the drives. The 3 Seagates I have in there right now have been fine since day one. I just need more space and would like some more speed as well!
I am looking at putting 4 HDS723020BLA642 (Hitachi Deskstar 3.5" 2TB 7200RPM SATA III 32MB Cache Internal Hard Drive 0S02861) of these on a Dell H700 6gb RAID card. Any one else done that?
Probably order from Amazon since I have Prime. :)
Not sure what you mean by "state speed". I know the drives won't even hit the limit of SATA 2 but I went with the H700 since I am looking to have a controller that works in my PowerEdge 1900 so it reports back to the Dell management tools. The H700 also allows me to have one big container.
I...
