Whats interesting is, before I've only stayed with mainstream cards and never considered above $300 gpus. After all this hyping from both sides, I start to think $600+ cards are ok because they can perform 2x.
god damn marketing.
Such interesting move when you look at the whole picture. Jensen is such salesman and he doesnt dissapoint!.
You have new product that is a good upgrade from previous version, but you have VERY limited supply.
AND you have a big aquisition deal coming up (ARM).
How do you get most value out...
I know nvidia already stopped making 20 series but there are still alot of 20 series left brand new.
What will retailers sell them at? Would it be better value than the new 30s?
But then again it seems like 30s will be hard to get at this point.
I just remember those crazy comments from 2000 series.. "IT JUST WORKS" and that idiot from Tom's hardware "JUST BUY IT" .. we should ask him what to do now. LOL
From the over hyping and even "supposed" low supply so "buy now!!" marketing leaks, I am hoping RDNA2 is really scaring Nvidia.
But i guess its good time to buy gpu.. finally. but wait until the ti and super BS.
sigh... Nvidia really knows how to screw royal buyers but making things just interesting enough for spending more.
I just dont understand AMD's lack of fighting back... and strange pricing scheme..
