I thought this might be the answer, would you just go with the LG or Samsung 22" at 1680x1050 for better input lag? Or put up with some input lag with the current 24" 1920x1080 monitors.

The Sony CRT gdm fw-900 is the only one I would get. But hard to get and if you do find it like Ebay....$1000.00 (USED) is risky when there is no more support, if it should go wrong. Not worth the potential trouble. If I find a good working one worth the risk I would jump on it.

Gaming, gaming, gaming....the ONLY concern for this build. I have other pc's for other issues. This monitor I want to build around is nothing but!! Also price is not a issue.
