AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

It is an upgrade over dell 38" for someone looking for a perfection in the 38" hardware g-sync range, and who understands that HDR support is just a secondary bonus to the smoothest performance in SDR. My personal opinion is that dell is... okay I'm not going to post that, since there are dell...

AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

Definitely no. It doesn't even have fald. It's just an echo of what HDR should be like. It is more expensive and it is much more advanced in terms of supporting color spaces. It has perfect support of the sRGB color space and you can assign individual color space to any input. Which is fucking...

AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

I think that it is 120hz 10bit max, actually. For SDR 8-bit is all you need. 10-bit is for HDR, which this monitor is not about.

You don't need the hdmi 2.1 for your gaming PC and this monitor. It is not a TV.

AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

There is an updated predator 38S coming out - https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/acer-predator-x38-s-with-37-5-ips-panel-175hz-refresh-rate-and-g-sync-ultimate/ If I were after a 38" monitor, or any monitor now, the 38S would be the one I'd be looking at. Forget about fald, halos, individual...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Chia is pure gamble unlike the ordinary coin mining. Also I missed the 3000 series and mining with a 2080ti is not interesting enough. Had I a 3090 or two, I'd mine.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

If I were wealthier, I'd mine for sure, though.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Well, it really doesn't concern me anymore, whatever happens to that disk. I did think of mining, since I had a total of 5TB of SSD NVMe disk space, but decided against it. I don't like gambling in any shape or form.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I'm done with PC gaming. Sold my 2080 ti for ~$1730 and an adata m.2 ssd that I had bought recently for gaming storage for ~$385 (bought for $205), I guess it's chasing chia now... I'll be back probably in 1.5-2 years. Tired of waiting for a good gaming monitor which is the key part of the whole...

I'm not surprised. It's also NOISY. (the gsync fan)

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I think it's just the size and hardware gsync, that makes sure the performance is buttery smooth in the whole fps range from 0 to the max and back. Max brightness is nice but not something to write home about and burn-in is rather mental issue. Given that VRR on the new C1 starts at 20fps...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Looks like it will really cost $3000. My local shop already corrected the price from $7000 (or $8000, I cant remember exactly) down to $4200. Still, the C1 has VRR range starting with 20hz and the 32" is not 38" 21:10.
