Please can you check for image retention issues? Turn the brightness to 50%, keep a white Firefox window open for about half hour and then switch to a dark grey background (#404040). Do you see remnants of the Firefox window? -

Please can you check for image retention and tell us the result? (see my earlier posts in this thread on how to check for it with a grey background). Also include your display's revision (A00 or something similar) and manufacture date. -

Thank you for testing it and reporting the result. Maybe the November batch is better then. Just to confirm, did you test the retention with a gray background (#404040)? 1. Open a Firefox window with white background and a little bit of black text. Make it cover half the screen. Leave it on... -

Do you have image retention issues in your display? (See my previous comments in this thread on how to reproduce it.) What is the revision number on the box? It must be something like "A00". -

I have not used a Retina display, but depending on the physical dimensions of the panel on it and the pixel resolution of the display, it may have a very high DPI which is why you may like the text quality on it. Text displays on screens resort to hinting and other tricks to make it look good... -

Hi all I am in India. 7 days ago, I purchased 4 Dell U2713HM displays for a new computer upgrade (my old computer is from 2006 and I had been saving to get this). Right now I have an old NVIDIA 7600 GS card with one dual-link DVD-D output, but that is enough to test these displays one by one...
