Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This is also common if you get to much dirty power flowing through your circuit, your psu can't move fast enough to regulate all the power sags and spikes.
I agree that they have accomplished the creation of a quality product that stands out and sometimes above others, but your just gonna toss away that technology in 3 to 4 years for something new, doesn't seem so practical to spend top dollar when you think about it that way.
I am network admin. Alot of the users here are some type of IT admin, and the rest are very into IT... pretty stupid thing to say.
You obviously have never used logic or reasoning in your assumptions.
All major firewalls and VPN concentrators and routers I setup at work are FreeBSD.
O...
I run multiple Hyper-v Server for multiple clients. VMware falls on its face when compared to the business value of running windows server on hyper-v.
FYI I have never had any performance running any flavor of unix on hyper-v
I use to be a VMware fanboy, but you can't argue with real world...
Windows server has UNIX extensions so you can do NFS, also the deduplicaiton feature in 2012 is probably the best thing windows could have done for storage. Turn you 6TB into 12TB or 18TB easily.
