Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a NEW Gear S2 Classic smart watch for sale.
It's in the original retail box, *never opened* and ready to be shipped to the lucky buyer. No need to pay tax buying retail, get a new unit here :)
Buy with confidence, long-time [H] member with great feedback on heat, Swappa, Amazon, EBay...
It's just going to get worse with the industry push for 'wearables' and ubiquitous computing. We need smarter devices that know enough not to interrupt us for trivial matters. Right now you have to enforce your own preferences, but in the future maybe they can leverage some AI to automate it more.
It gets a thumbs up from me so far.
I'm doing the $20/mo student plan for the whole Creative Cloud Suite. Mainly using LightRoom and Premiere at this point, but plan to dive into Photoshop soon. I've been a GIMP user for years, but it looks like I finally have a good reason to transition over.
Good suggestions.
Programing texts can usually only be so engaging. I have two books, 'Programming in Scala' and 'Scala for the Impatient'. Both good books, especially the second one if you are coming from a Java background and just want to get up to speed quickly.
Bot-war sounds like more fun...
Hmmm sitting here with X79 & 3930K (6 core) @ 4.5Ghz. Broadwell-E is tempting but I agree a X99 refresh may be worth waiting for. Anyone else on Sandy Bridge-E and considering it?
Tried it. Returned it.
Used the EA Origin 'Great Game Guarantee'. Not a terrible game, but just feels very incomplete even at this price --- will wait for the Premium Edition with full DLC.
And it wouldn't be unAmerican either. Capitalism is the way of the land, morality aside. What we don't want though is a bunch of Martin Shekrelis running around though...
My brother just received a Nexus 6P and activated on Google Fi in Chicago. Even came with a free little lego set.
I was keen to get some feedback from him since I am considering it myself.... so far he said clear reliable service. He used it on his private Wifi, public Wifi, and cell signal...
Note4 w/ 128GB SD Card.
One of the best phones I've ever owned. Brilliant screen, and snappy.
I like the S-Pen improvements of the Note5, but didn't want to surrender the SD card slot and removable battery. I hope they bring these back for a Note6....
I have the IPad 4 (Retina) with Logitech...
For those interested in this topic, I can recommend the book 'The Singularity Is Near' by Ray Kurzweil. Kurzweil is a self-proclaimed futurist of some note, and I believe in the past few years he recently joined Google. Once we reach the point where machines genuinely become self-aware and able...
