    No surge supressor?

No, there's no commercial grade UPS tied in. When I looked the circuit panel it's square D breakers, much the same as you find in your home. They said, "The cubicle guy told me there was surge suppressors built in, so we don't need any". To me, the lack of proof, such as, UL listing...

    No surge supressor?

We have a high failure rate of PC power supplies (about 40%). I’m wondering that perhaps it’s not the power supplies, but possibly a surge that got them. They were all working fine for several months and then they suddenly they started dropping like flies. The reason why I suspect a surge is...

    supermicro question

I don’t own this specific model, but SuperMicro makes good stuff. I do own probably 10 models that are similar to this that are going on 10 years old now. They still work and are in production. I guess without knowing specifically what you want, all I can say is that I like SuperMicro stuff.

Do you think nVidia is missing out on sales due to the shortage of video cards?

Maybe I’m being too picky? I originally wanted a GTX 690. If they had one in stock day of launch I’d be a GTX 690 owner. Then I was going to get an Asus GTX 680 Directcu II Top SLI, but I missed the boat on them being in stock. I was on the can when I saw them on Newegg and by the time I...

Do you think nVidia is missing out on sales due to the shortage of video cards?

Just as the title says, do you think nVidia is missing out on sales due to the shortage of video cards? I was holding out for weeks to buy two Asus GTX 680 Directcu ii Top's to put in SLI, but I finally gave up after I saw Newegg with an Asus GTX 670 Directcu II Top in stock. I bought one...
