    at the Hard disk screen: 1) press shift + f10 2) cmd prompt will open --> type "diskpart" (or disk part-can't remember off top of my head) 3) type "select disk 0" 4) type "clean" 5) type "exit" once or twice until cmd prompt closes 6) click refresh icon and then try to install

    I recommend the Mike Myers book - i used it when studying for my Network+ this past December. I am currently reading Todd Lammle's CCNA material and have really enjoyed it thus far so maybe his Network + material is worth checking out.
