Is there a way to tell the exact video signal the TV is receiving at any moment in webos?

I could immediately understand the superiority of HDR on a 10bit oled display, not sure why I’d need to convince myself it isn’t. Sony’s first party games and 4k/hdr animated movies really blew me away, and PC games are getting more consistent. I can certainly enjoy SDR content on my 8bit oled...

It should automatically use 10bit in the nvidia control panel if you choose the HDMI resolutions, that’s what my b7 did. I think I had hdr enabled in Windows. Then you can scale your games internally if needed. Sounds like 1440p/120hz HDR works too.

Didn’t they push out 2.1 support on the 8 series via firmware?

So with 120hz on PC, is the CX going to dynamically drop refresh rates like any Gsync display to accommodate FPS down to 60hz (or lower)? I can see most gaming running around the 60<->90hz range with high settings anyway. Also LG oleds have supported DolbyVision for years, even in HDMI 2.0. I...

Is the XB271HU Still considered a good monitor for the money? It’s 4 years old now

You can find an equal monitor with quantum dot/nano ips, some very basic level of HDR. So slight improvements with color reproduction. I’m stll rocking on original xb270hu. I might think about going to the 48cx after pc users get their hands on it.

Nice pics! Thx I’d crank the color profile to “warm” but that’s just me, seems a bit strong on the blue. CX looks like the best option available for both console and pc.

This bad boy is going to be the display to use for next gen consoles. I can’t think of what killer feature LG can implement in the next rev, outside of refinements.

The flatpanel review said “ At this time, we cannot measure input lag in VRR and 4K120 where it will be as low as 6 ms with, according to the company.” just curious why that isn’t possible. 6ms would be amazing

That looks absolutely sick. I just hope the 6ms input latency is legit or better, as it needs to be functional with mouse and keyboard for it to be a PC monitor replacement. gsync, image quality, and the fast pixel response is a dream. I don’t think gsync and bfi work together in any monitor...

1440p IPS screen with good contrast?

4k/120 will be pretty tough for modern games. How is gsync at 1440p/120hz on the c9?
