Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just wanted to run this by RB30, if it has come up before pls forgive my ignorance. Judging from what you say the DVI is the best option right? So would that perform better than running my 360 leet off HDMI?
If this is a Nvidia only issue can anyone confirm if they are using any of the 8800 series and still experiencing these symptoms? I really don't want my hardware to choose what kinda gfx card it wants to run on.
Yea, i'm still not sure which one to get...
Here's the Gray scale maps for both versions, you can clearly see the red tint on the FP241W version...

Im in the UK, I think the stock is ok over here.
I have read the the Z version uses 'BFI' (Black Frame Insertion) or as BenQ call it 'AMA-Z' technology to reduce afterglow and ghosting. Also there are reports of the non Z version having a dominant red problem which has been fixed in the Z...
One thing I did notice was that my cpu fan speed did not increase when the cpu got hotter, it stayed at 1240rpm, If I could find a way of speeding it up would it make a big difference?
I gave those timings a shot but still had the cpu temp at mid 50 idle and 70-80 load. I havent touched the voltage at all, I read so much about this cpu being able to go far on standard voltage so I wanted to try and achieve that.
Not sure about the temp readings im getting...
First I ran Prime95 and Coretemp with default settings , Idle temp was mid 30's and load was mid-high 50's
Then I tried this setup,
Multi: x9
Fsb: 366
Ram: 1098
Result Cpu 3.3ghz
Idle temp was mid 40's and load was 80 - Thats way to...
Thanks for that Danny, so I gather from what you are saying that my RAM has more than enough room to able to cope with my overclocking requirements and that I will have to clock it down to ddr2 800 speeds to get it to work at 9x400?
Thanks for the link SmackDizzle.
I just have a cpl of questions which may or may not make sense as I'm confused even as I type it... from what I have been told the FSB should be on a 1:1 ratio to achieve the best results right? The RAM FSB works on a *4 basis so if you set your FSB as 425...
Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone out there is running a similar setup to me (see sign) and what results they have been able to achieve through overclocking. I'm very green on the subject and I'm not really confident enough to go fiddling with things just yet.
Yea, I have been put off by this escapade, but the only nvidia cards that perform better than ATI are the 8800's... Let's just hope they sort out the build quality issues.
I feel like a Guppy chasin anythin that might look like a solution only to find out it's a nasty steel hook to more problems!
Off topic problem which I intend to fix by RMA'ing the lovely new Enermax PSU:
When I restart the fans keep spinning and the system lights stay on! AWESOME! (Banging...
