Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What's the optimal screw tightness for silence in the hd cage? The manual says to not overtighten; how do you know if it's too tight? Is there any way to gauge this?
So I just finished installing my ultra 120 extreme. I'm pretty pissed because it took me an hour to get it into my p182 / evga 680i. Anyone else try this?
Corsair HX620 will run two 8800gtx in SLI and a Q6600. I personally use it to run my e6600, 2x7800gtx, 680i, 2x1gb ballistix, 6 harddrives, 4 dvd burners. Works perfectly fine, as powerful as psus get.
Nothing... until the next generation, but even then it should keep anyone's system chugging past a video card cycle.
Based on my experience I mean. My 7800gtx's have been serving me well even with new games, I can still max out settings.
Hahaha... well regarding the SLI business, SLI is only worth it if you run two high end cards. Like it was said before, two 8600s would not compare to a single 8800gts 320 mb. But, on the other hand, two 8800gtx would have nothing to compare against in performance.
