    Asus VG248QE 144hz 3D Vision 2: The Official Thread

I just have a question. When I run 144Hz in games like BF3 where I'm nowhere near of getting 144 fps (I have a single 570, so I think I average around 40 fps maxed settings), will I still benefit from using 144Hz? Since I'm well below the optimal framerate for the 144Hz, should I just switch to...

    Asus VG248QE 144hz 3D Vision 2: The Official Thread

I used Toasty's CRU method of enabling LB on mine, but if I disable LB by unplugging, I can't switch to 60 or 144Hz in the nVidia CP, because they're not there, only 100, 110, and 120.

    Asus VG248QE 144hz 3D Vision 2: The Official Thread

Just got this bad boy today. Enabled 2D LightBoost and was screwing around in old games like Max Payne and Half-Life where I can easily maintain 120 fps. I'm very satisfied with the motion quality and the minimal to non-existent backlight bleed, which was a big problem with my last Asus monitor.

    Incredibly unhappy with EVGA

Same thing happened to me except it was with MSI.

GTX 460 SLI or single 560 Ti

Thanks for all your help guys, but I today I got an EVGA 570 Superclocked as an early X-mas gift. I was pretty tired of being insulted by MSI after my third RMA'd card came in defective . Anyways, the 570 is running good so far. Runs BF3 maxed like a boss. :D

GTX 460 SLI or single 560 Ti

I currently only have a single MSI 460 Cyclone 1GB, and I need a little more power for the likes of BF3 and the upcoming Arkham City. My resolution is 1680x1050. What would be the better option considering my resolution? Would SLI be a waste? Thanks

    Recommendation for best possible card?

Hey guys, sorry for the bump, but I have another question. I got a MSI GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB in January and it definitely handles games better than my 9800GTX+ ever did. My question is, can I add another one, or would that be too much for my CPU?

    Recommendation for best possible card?

My current card just isn't cutting it these days.

    Recommendation for best possible card?

Sorry for the bump but I managed to achieve a stable 3.2 GHz for my system. I'm doing Christmas shopping in about 2 weeks, so the GTX 460 would definitely suit me, right?

    Recommendation for best possible card?

I know. I overclock it to 3.2 GHz but sometimes it's unstable, so I'll have to fiddle around with the settings a little more once I get the new card.

    Recommendation for best possible card?

I just hope I can find a stable 3.2 GHz on my crappy motherboard :(

    Recommendation for best possible card?

Thanks for the responses, fellas. I looked on Newegg and see a lot of the 460's for around $230-$250 which isn't bad since this will be a Christmas gift. So would I definitely have to overclock my CPU? Would 3.0 Ghz be enough or would I have to push it to 3.2 and above?

    Recommendation for best possible card?

I need a recommendation on the best possible card I can get without it getting bottlenecked by my RAM and CPU. Specs CPU: Intel QX6700 @ stock 2.7 GHz RAM: 4GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 800 GPU: Geforce 9800 GTX+ OC 1GB Mobo: Asus Striker Extreme PSU: Antec True Power Quattro 1000W Any...
