Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the in-depth review! A bit better performance would have been nice, but it's still a path for Freesync users. Perhaps I can finally retire my 390x/290x small-room heater now.
Could be; or perhaps they are restricting to bundles only first day.
This bundle just showed up on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Radeon-Graphics-Crosshair-Motherboard-Bundle/dp/B074PKVSH9/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1502698965&sr=1-1&keywords=xfx+vega.
I've been using a 390x/290x in Crossfire for a few years now, and it works with the majority of the games I play. Scaling isn't perfect, but most of the time it gives the extra performance to push 3440x1440 on max settings. The heat output has certainly been at max setting, heh.
I've been gaming on a Dell U3415W for a while, pushing the 3440x1440 pixels with 290x crossfire. I love the resolution, color and quality of the Dell monitor for both gaming and work, but I think I might be missing out on what Freesync can offer. As the Samsung is currently the monitor on offer...
The liquid-cooled bundle actually sounds all right to me; I play on a Dell U3415w with a 390x/290x crossfire setup and like the resolution for gaming, but was definitely interested in moving to freesync. Looks like I could get a new card, games and a discount off a decent monitor at the same...
Perfect, Amazon Prime has made me a compulsive online shopper, so I'll be spamming that link to be sure.
Thanks again for the reviews; I've really appreciated the subjective approach that has been taken the last few years. I thought the blind "Vega vs 1080ti" video was fairly eye-opening as to...
I thought I already had a forum membership, but apparently I did not. That's very strange, since I've been reading reviews and forums here for many, many years.
For context, I can remember many spending countless nights playing Unreal Tournament on my Voodoo 3 until the wee hours of the...
