ghp can you give us DYI instructions how to achieve this without voiding the warranty? Is it done by soldering the external battery wires to the mobo battery holder clips?
I believe this proves that BIOS version, settings or the way it is flashed has nothing to do with the real cause of this the problem.
I will also add to this list the OS type/version, drivers, software...
Issue is clearly of electrical nature.
This board is too sensitive and highly susceptible...
I'm considering Dark Hero once it's out.
At least has some improvement compared to Master: no chipset fan!

I thought that my FP USB-C cable is faulty and I even RMA-d it and still waiting for the...
5+ weeks without cold boot brick thing, and counting...
BIOS updates F12g -> F20 -> F21
ErP = ON, Single BIOS = ON, Windows 10 2004 sleep turned off*.
(*There is a theory that mobo somehow corrupts it's power components logic states during the sleep when XMP profile is active)
Note: I...
I use APC SmartUPS SMT750I with pure sine wave output on battery. Happened 3 times so far.
Now that I think of it, there is (big) possibility that first time when it happened (after aprox. 6 months of flawless performance) was after the PC was sleeping during the night.
