I believe this proves that BIOS version, settings or the way it is flashed has nothing to do with the real cause of this the problem. I will also add to this list the OS type/version, drivers, software... Issue is clearly of electrical nature. This board is too sensitive and highly susceptible...

I use APC SmartUPS SMT750I with pure sine wave output on battery. Happened 3 times so far. Now that I think of it, there is (big) possibility that first time when it happened (after aprox. 6 months of flawless performance) was after the PC was sleeping during the night.
