    so if you have 5.1 go for the 5.1, if u have 6.1/7.1 go for the 7.1 :) 5.1 has better driver support for xp x64 too if it helps you. i have 5.1 2 , and i love it :)

    Ok, really, how bad is the ECS RS480-M V1.0?

    I have it. It did reboots, till i updated the BIOS, i dont remember when was the last "freeze"/reboot. Good mainboard, im without OverClock. Sata works great and identified as IDE hardware. Dont know what the others complain about. :)

    What about the 24bit Crystalizer? And im not so happy with my onboard soundcard, my brother have 4.1 speaker set, mine are better, and with his soundcard(live!) , he's speakers sounds better. i think ill just go to the shop and ask them if i can try the x-Fi hopfolly they will give it to me...
