Thank you for your reply. I got a used one. It didn't have a USB token. Is there a way to remove the encryption settings without a USB token? I would like to do a factory reset if possible.

I got a used HP MSL2042. This tape library has encryption settings, so I can't write to tape. Is there a way to disable the encryption settings? I don't have a USB token.
