Honestly you probably won't notice much of a difference when you upgrade, IMO it's not worth it if you have a 3700x....I mean unless you do something that requires heavy workloads and you're upgrading to a 9950x3d or something.

My sons board died so we sent it in for RMA, instead of waiting we bought a new board. This is fresh back from RMA, looks like a brand new board best I can tell. Unfortunately, I think I accidentally left some stuff in the box underneath that I sent in with the old board, so it doesn't come...

I'm convinced that any melting issues are coming from people that didn't snap the HPWR connector in the entire way.

Good price on the 4090. I ended up just selling mine on ebay. Hated to do it, but sold it for 2200, minus fees and shipping/insurance I cleared 1800 out of it.
