Changing an AM2+ mobo for an AM3 one - you will also have to change ram (for DDR3). It's cheap, all right, but the hassle with selling your current mobo/ram probably won't justify the marginal gain in performance.
Going for two 260s in SLI is not a good idea. 260 is a very power hungry card...
