    I would keep my eye on the Galaxy S II for sure, but there will probably be Kal-El based phones available or announced by December. If you don't want to bother with Motorola anymore, there will be plenty of HTC choices on VZW by December, I'm sure.

    I'm not sure what comparisons these people are making, but it must be of the Evo and the Evo Shift when they say it's comparable or faster. I've used all three (Evo and Evo Shift only for a couple days each) and the Epic is quicker at just doing normal operations as well as running 3d games...

    When did Samsung do this? Seriously, when did they release an update and then pull it? Go to Samsung's website and download eb13 right now. You can do it. Sprint pulled the update. People need to stop blaming Samsung for the carrier's actions and problems.

    Umm, yeah, no you can't. I'm not saying don't get the Epic. I have one and love it, but you can't update ota to froyo yet. The official OTA update is not available yet. You CAN download a leaked 2.2 ROM or custom 2.2 ROM based on the leaked 2.2 ROM for the Epic, though.
