Should I upgrade to Windows 10?

I think you need to take a stand as an individual and reject Windows 10. It frankly frightens me that people are willing to accept such intrusiveness into their digital lives. You shouldn't pay for something with slices of your identity to be bundled, traded, sold or abused. The long-term...

    BenQ BL3201PT 4K monitor

I have this monitor and I've suffered through the occasional flicker (not a big deal), but my screen is suddenly blacking out for a second or two at random intervals (this is a big deal). Has anyone had this happen to their BL3201PT? It's happening every couple of minutes, it appears.

    32"@4K affordable class: Acer B326HK, Asus PA328Q, BenQ BL3201PT

Just got the BL3201PT and I'm in love. I took forever to make my decision (34" ultrawide, 144hz, curved Samsung TV, etc) but am convinced I made the correct one. No issues whatsoever with fonts being too small in Windows 7 @ 100% scaling. No scaling needed in browsers, either. 100% satisfied.

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Does anyone know the European equivalent model numbers for these TV's? I found the UE40J6370S (http://www.samsung.com/nl/consumer/tv-audio-video/televisions/curved-tv/UE40J6370SUXXN) which looks like it might be the same as the JU6700? Can anyone confirm?

    34" 21:9 UltraWide Displays (3440x1440) - LG UM95/UM65 & Dell U3415W

I'm very interested in the Samsung S34E790C but heard that the pixels aren't square. Is this noticeable and if so in what areas? The Philips 40 inch 4k has the same issue, and people aren't buying it because of this. Maybe the Samsung's curve compensates and it's a non-issue?

    BenQ BL3201PT 4K monitor

Can this monitor do 120hz @ 1080P? I haven't kept up with the newer 4K displays, but know the old Seiki model could do this. Does it require special circuitry?

    Samsung UD590 now on Newegg - $869

Hate the stand. Absolutely hate it. On the other hand, its design is pleasing, the resolution is amazing, the quality looks good and there's no real alternative yet. I might just get it it.

    34" 21:9 UltraWide Displays (3440x1440) - LG UM95/UM65 & Dell U3415W

According to some Belgian webshops, the LG model is going to cost around 860 euros. Release should be imminent, as well.

    Samsung's take on 28" 4K - U28D590D

Agreed - this is retarded. :( Every single instruction on ergonomics mentions the top of the display should be at eye level. I'd have to sit on a bar stool for that to happen with this turd. Samsung kept me from buying the MD230 surround setup because it had no vertical adjustment and it...

    SFF with ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3

I got this http://www.hd-plex.com/hdplex-h1.s-fanless-computer-case.html running an A10- 6700T. Motherboard is the Gigabyte F2A88XN. No 3.5", or ODD, though. But it's silent and stylish -- good enough for me!

Anyone still going to purchase P2815Q (dell $700 4k) monitor?

Why not get the Asus PB287Q? Roughly equivalent in price, same panel type, size, but it also happens to do 60Hz.

    The Steam Machines

I bought one of these - http://www.hd-plex.com/hdplex-h1.s-fanless-computer-case.html - and a mini-ITX FM2+ motherboard. The A8-7600 with its configurable TDP (65W or 45W) should prove to be a fairly capable little chip. The idea of a tiny, 0dB computer with only a controller hooked up to it is...

    Asus PB287Q 4k 28" 60Hz Preview

Ticks all my boxes -- 100% guaranteed buy. Any idea whether this'll do 1080P@120Hz like the 50" Seiki?

plot thickens :) DELL 3440x1440 ultra wide 34" 21:9 screen

I don't get it. Isn't this the 2560*1080 version? And isn't it 29" and not 34"? Or is this some new monitor I'm not familiar with?

plot thickens :) DELL 3440x1440 ultra wide 34" 21:9 screen

This looks ideal! I was hoping for a non-TN 30~36" UHD screen at less than 1500 euros. If this ends up being what I expect it to be, it should sell extremely well - it's basically a single screen eyefinity setup. Here's hoping it's not a bogus rumor and Dell won't price it outside the realm...
