Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Couldn't make it to PAX for the crafting panel? Well, you can watch my nervousness in front of hundreds of people with youtube!

Two things to note:
The panel organizer included to pictures of cases from PDXLAN that I didn't make but...
... ... and that would be the easy way. I'll be picking up a multimeter and figuring out how to trouble shooting it that way. Thanks!!!
Unfortunately, Gigabyte didn't have a red/black micro-atx board available. Next case will be a little more coordinated.
Ask and you shall receive!

Update #30: The morning before and during PAX
When I finally had everything put together and ready to test it was about 4am on Friday morning. I plugged in all of the input and output devices. I had all of my...
Actually it was my bad. I was the dumbass that took the picture. The funny thing is pretty much one person on every forum I've posted this worklog to has mentioned it. I'd rather have you guys mention it and it not be an issue than not mention it and I not notices it. So thanks for calling...
Actually, it has enough water pressure to blow out the air. The air collected in the reservoir and I filled it up a little more. It was run once or twice just to make sure.
Update #29:
Note all of these pictures happened sometime between Thursday 6pm (8/30) and Friday 6am (8/31)
Time was running short before PAX and the mountain of cabling and sleaving seemed daunting. So I did what any modder would do, I worked non-stop to get it done. Heres a quick...
Thank you, sir!
You're always welcome back! We've quite a community of modders up in Seattle not to mention a huge Maker community. And with places like RE PC selling $200 systems you can always get something to mod.
I live in South Seattle (Beacon Hill nieghborhood) and pick my metal up...
I custom made a tilted mounting bracket that attaches to the frame for stability. The tilt was conceived to prevent any warm spots on the GPU waterblock that might collect air bubbles. It might be a little bit of overkill as the pressure tends to keep the gas in the reservoir but I wanted to...
Update #28: Assembling Pictures!!!
Im still working on the sleaving, redoing some of the sleaving and a little soldering. But it was driving me crazy. So I started assembling the various parts of the case.
Heres the GPU (Radeon 6950/70) with the water block. Just a quick note, the...
Thanks!
It's interesting. I'm not too sure how it is in your state (I'm in Seattle, WA) but we're going through our classes now. I believe we have one more class and then we get a home evaluation to see what we have to do to improve/change about our house to begin fostering.
Update #27:
Well . The couple of hours I was setting aside to do modding ended up getting side tracked by one of my neighbors that required tech support. Im a sucker for an elderly neighbor that is fascinated by current technologies.
I did get some work done. The PSU is assembled and I...
Yeah... *sigh*
When I look at situations like this there is a certain amount of cost/benefit analysis to how I react. At the moment, I am neck deep in a mod, preparing for a panel in front of a couple hundred geeks, nerds and modders, and remodeling and preparing my house for fostering a...
I would have loved to 'provide my constructive criticism" of their work. However, EVERYONE but the secretary was gone on Friday. I will have a chance to talk them either Monday or Tuesday. But I doubt anything other than me posting bad reviews of their work on Yelp. I'd rather not go back...
Yeah, while doing the paint job myself gives me more practice I would have liked the powder coaters to have done the job correctly. It was an expensive lesson.
Update #26:
Am I allowed to post two updates within 24 hours? Am I breaking some Modders Code of Conduct? Bah, why not? I might as well get this tiny little update out before I go to sleep.
I started assembling the frame so itll be ready for me to do the fitting and wiring of the LED...
