i got it working almost properly when i got a different driver off nvidia.com and set the evga to the master card but i took it back anyhow because it was $100 cheaper online than where i got it from.
it was really late at night when i made that response...
that was a pain in the butt. i wont even go into it because its way too late but the card was acting like it was still 1 card, no boost in performance. but then again it was clocked higher and while it worked a bit better when set to master, it still gave me some trouble. im takign this back. it...
thank you for the help. the evga one (which is 175 and comes with rise of the triad which i want) has the same vram and speed but the gpu core clock is different, no problems there?

i am currently seeing 660's of another brand on sale for 60 dollars less (i paid 194 for the galaxy one) would it work good with my current card or should i buy...
did you get smoother framerates on games with it? i always get drops on bf3 with one 660 while the 7870 ran it perfectly. and can you do physx? i said i didnt care for it but i wanted to know if you could.
a while ago my 7870 got damaged, i sent it in and now its coming back...but i bought a 660GTX because i was not going to buy AMD ever again. but now im wondering if it would be better to keep the 7870 and add a second card.
i was going to add a second 660gtx if i kept it anyway.
which one...
odd question:
i tried to do the whole 460 as a ppu thing, messing around
and the game was still running badly my fps dying on me. i had to improvise with the power plugs, so was that the problem?
