Does your headphones have 5 channels and a subwoofer?
Your headphones are most likely stereo, ie two drivers, so you dont want to output a 5.1 signal but a 2.0 signal instead.
You will need to look into a unit with optical in and a headphone out. Your tv might not be able to control the volume...
You could look into the Neumann KH 120a if you like a flat and detailed frequency response. They sound a lot bigger than what they are. There is much more information to be had about them on gearslutz.com if they seem interesting to you.
Alright. I think I will go for the U2713 and then if needed add a U2212 on the side. Should match up somewhat decently with the PPI.
