    Death of the PPU?

    I always wanted a PPU, I will miss it until something else has that physics power again. The more "crap" you get raining down from an explosion the more real and better it looks.

    9800GT or 9800GTX+, which one? help me decide.

    Looks like the 9800gt is nothing but a rebranded 8800gt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_8_Series%238800_GT . So its old tech but with a new name !! The 9800gtx+ is a little more powerful than the 8800/9800gt, maybe 10-15%. Out of those three cards I would go for the 4850.

    i came from 9800GX2.it is a better benchmark card, but for real gaming. gtx280 is much better if you don't want to pay that much go gtx 260 for like 270 then do SLI in the future if you want to
