My 1882IX-12 is running 58C CPU and 38C controller.

Just reporting back my experience with the firmware upgrade. I upgraded the 1882 firmware to 1.50 without any troubles...just had to reflash the MacEFI Bios in order to boot from it. Very easy procedures and everything seems to be working fine on the 2010 Mac Pro. Thanks again for the...

I just picked up a ARC-1882-IX-12 and I'm using it to boot my Mac Pro...it came with firmware 1.49 and I noticed 1.50 is available from Areca. Questions: 1) Are there any real "gotchas" when upgrading the Areca firmware when I'm booting from that Raid card? 2) Also, any reason not to...
