    Samsung 950 Pro M.2 w/ Older Hardware

Thanks for the advice. Kind of a bummer but I'm glad I won't notice the difference. The guy who sold me the drive said it was 2x as fast as a standard SSD which I didn't believe but I had a few gift cards burning a hole in my pocket :p I'll return the drive and adapter and save myself about...

    2500k and Hyper 212 Concern

Sounds good then, looks like I have nothing to worry about. :) I was thinking lower temps on one core or two was caused by improper spread of thermal compound but I guess not.

    2500k and Hyper 212 Concern

Just picked up a Hyper 212 and some Shin Etsu Paste for my 2500k, and I think there are a few things that are not quite right. I noticed when I took the plastic off the heatsink, that there was a small indent(not deep) on one of the copper heat pipes, very small. Just want to put that out...

    Which 2.1 set?

very interesting option then, and not bad for the price. How would I connect a sub to the amp? I didn't see a sub out option? Also, I assume your referring to the Dayton Audio T-Amp and B652 Speaker Bundle. If I like enough, Z2300's sell like hot cakes on craigslist

overclocking SB 2500k on stock heatsink and fan?

Obviously somethings is not right on your setup. On stock cooler I hover in the 30c mark (-2/+5) With the Hyper 212 you should be in the mid to lower 20s from what other people have reported. Just sayin.

    Which 2.1 set?

Amazon has the Z2300 set for $110 free shipping. I own a set, and could not be happier. They get LOUD, and stay clear at high volumes. You cannot go wrong with either set though. Yes, get a sound card. You dont shell out $100+ for speakers, and use onboard. Thats just my train of thought though...

Found the root of MY P8P67 freeze/lockup issues

Long time lurker, new poster. Great Forum! Anyways, so for about the past two weeks I have been experiencing the SAME dreaded issues everyone else has.(Bios update was the first thing I did, even before installing windows) Random freezes while basically doing nothing (browsing, etc) BUT it was...
