    buy a few cd's or put it in a savings account... I'd spend it on clothes myself. but if you were to build a computer, the x6800's a waste so is spending 500 on a soon to be outdated card. Get a midrange card for now and save the rest for an upgrade like a dx10 card or something. Again...
