    The 2ms rating means nothing. Every enthusiast-type LCD at this point has excellent response time and 0 ghosting. I'd get a 2209WA, but then I already have two..Not as large and lower res though, but it'll blow away the quality of that Samsung.

    Aren't the deep blacks effin' nice in games? I honestly think component probably provides just as clear a signal as HDMI, so if it's easier to hook up audio with component (it certainly is for me), I'd go that route.

    No black bars, aliasing would be the result of this monitor's incredible clarity. That's a good thing :) I just hooked mine up earlier with the Component-> VGA adapter. It looks incredible. Something like shadow complex would be too amazing...Wish I had it!

    You can use HDMI to DVI, or on the 2209WA you can set it to YPrPb mode and use a component-to-VGA adapter.
