Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The 2ms rating means nothing. Every enthusiast-type LCD at this point has excellent response time and 0 ghosting.
I'd get a 2209WA, but then I already have two..Not as large and lower res though, but it'll blow away the quality of that Samsung.
Why don't you go out and look up who owns every company you buy everything from. You'll be displeased.
Seriously, Mormons aren't the worst people out there. Maybe a little insane, but not overly malevolent at least.
Aren't the deep blacks effin' nice in games? I honestly think component probably provides just as clear a signal as HDMI, so if it's easier to hook up audio with component (it certainly is for me), I'd go that route.
Just set up the replacement A01, China. The original was Mexico. Mfg. date is August while the original was July. I noticed that when rotated to portrait the mechanism feels slightly "chunkier" when it clicks into place. I like it. And no yellow line!

No black bars, aliasing would be the result of this monitor's incredible clarity. That's a good thing :)
I just hooked mine up earlier with the Component-> VGA adapter. It looks incredible. Something like shadow complex would be too amazing...Wish I had it!

The Dell rep told me 2209WA was on backorder into September. Fedex tried to...
Please don't count mail in rebates in the price. I clicked this for no reason.
I've never received one back, stopped sending them, stopped purchasing products offering them.
For most people on most displays the difference between component and HDMI is not really going to be that great...
Of course, that's a 24" screen with a >720 native resolution so, I eat my words
What's that saying about when you're in a dilemma, but it's not necessarily a bad one?...
I don't want to RMA it because I love it so much :D
But I will. Sigh. This monitor seriously rocks. For $200, I put it up there with the some of the best price/performance of any product I have...
Returning home today, the cursed yellow line appeared again as soon as I turned the monitor on. This time it faded away by itself in about 30 seconds.
Is this a commonly recognized lcd flaw? I keep hoping it'll "break in", I don't want to have to send the monitor back over something minor and...
