    OK guys, today I am putting together my HTPC, and thats gonna be a clean install with Win 7. THen gonna install drivers for HD5850 and try it and see if the FPS will be diferent on a clean install.

    Hey guys what do you mean by fresh install? What i do is, i got the drivers for both cards, i run the game, check out the fps, then shut off my PC, put in the other video card, boot up and check the fps. (as well as check the graphics settings on the game, and make sure they are the same)

    i get about 19-20 FPS FPS in crysis warhead (the first version, no updates) on my GTX 280 and the FPS is very stable but with the HD5850 i get like 17-18FPS but its unstable :( Also, in Dirt 2, the FPSs are about the same (one card running dX9, and the HD5850 running DX11) Umm so is this good...

    Well my HTPC is a gaming one. so I'll decide where to put my HD5850. I think imma put it in my HTPC so i can get more eyecandy on the 52inch tv. Gonna do some tests when i get home today and see the FPS.

    OK so i got the video card, its in my system I tested CoD WaW and guess what? I am getting a tiny bit less FPS on the HD5850. Tried NFS shift and i get a bit more FPS than the GTX 280. In Dirt 2 I get a tad bit less FPS as well (not DX11). And this is with the newest drivers from Dec 8th...

    Yes the card is used, but not alot, he says its like almost brand new. He is getting the HD5970. so I mean the card came out not too long ago so it cant be used that much But no warranty. lets hope it doesnt die on me :(
