Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Well, a few days ago i changed this:
To one of these:
I traded mainly because of the noise the Cisco was making, the room is silent right now.
And it looks like these right now:
Upper Switch is the "core" switch, where all devices are connected and its all gigabit.
Bottom Switch is...
My bad!!! Still think its kinda odd something "rated" for 100mbps giving you only half of it, anyway.
*Irony* That second router must be a really good piece of hardware *irony* :D heheh

Then the switch will work to replace your Netgear, however im still pointing to your router being the problem, but since you're goint to switch that soon, that should be ok too :)

If i understood correctly, your router is making you lose bandwidth.
Even though your router is only 100 mbits you should be getting a bit more than 48Mbits.
I believe that your problem is the router itself, adding a swtich inbetween will only give you gigabit access to your devices, to the...
Yes but, never got it to work very well... 2920 has this working in a easier and more understandable way.
2820 only supports NAT on 1 network. 2920 can do this on 5 Vlans
Some Draytek... however the draytek 2920 with the latest firmware supports vlans(tagged or untagged), and suports(on the wireless version) several ssids working on diferent vlans. Dont know if you need this. but you never know.

Dont know what is draytek reputation in the US, but i do use them alot here in portugal, they are not that expensive and they are very reliable routers, most of them to VPNS has well, client ou server.

On the server just go to the security local policy -> local policy -> User rights assessment and make sure you have the username you're trying to connect with in there, this has done it for me in the past on similar problems.

I run a 1801 at home with a Aironet 1121 for the wireless thing, the great thing is that once you set it up, you dont have to worry about it anymore. The thing is that you cant really practice your CCNA or whatever, since it wont break down....

Its been 2 years since i use Voip at home, and i have a SPA3102 and a PAP2, and sincerely i cant remember the last time i had to logon to setup anything or fix anything. They have been working great. My opinion is that they are reliable, and im using one of those "chinese" PAP2.
